The Traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial and Museum
Southwest Michigan was honored when The Wall That Heals – the traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial and Museum – visited Gull Lake High School in Richland from November 1 through 4, 2012 hosted by the Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation. This exhibit listing 58,282 names of those killed or missing in action from the conflict stretches nearly 250 feet in length. More than 8000 people visited this half-scale replica of the Washington D.C. Vietnam Veterans Memorial within the comfort of our own community. Since its dedication on Veterans Day 1996, The Wall That Heals has visited more than 350 cities throughout the nation.
